Weekend Trips

Andre and I have spent the last couple of weekends on the road.

We went to Atlanta to watch the Hawks lose to the Golden State Warriors a couple of weeks ago. That’s my fault; they lose every time I watch them. We also met up with Kevin to get our hair done, for good old times sake. And, of course, a trip to Atlanta wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

We spent last weekend in New York City. We managed to make it in and out with few injuries thanks to a couple of Brians, Kenneth and Neena. As fate would have it though, Sarge didn't make it back to DC with us. Rumor has it that he was dognapped, but I think he heard that I was planning to take him to China with me in April. I think he consciously chose NYC’s energy and freedom over the possibility of a Chinese dog-fate. What happened to a letter of resignation? No matter where he ends up, I’m sure he’ll have many travels ahead.

Time to find a new mascot, and FAST!
